The diaper pod is quilted and has a velcro closure for easy open. The changing pad is quilted on the bottom, but the flannel is untouched to allow for maximum comfort. All items can be washed in the machine to get rid of any germs.
My favorite part is the back. There is heavy elastic with a fabric covering (like a scrunchy, only flat). The changing pad folds up easily and you can just stick it under the elastic. Pretty and functional :) You can also carry the pod by the elastic if you want too

A diaper pod holds a small container of wipes and 2 or 3 diapers.
